What we hold, and what it means for you.
Tourism licence
The agency operates under a Greek tourism office licence issued by the national tourism organisation (MHTE). The number is printed in the top bar of every page on this site and in the footer, which is where you should expect to find it on any legitimate Greek operator.
Vehicles and drivers
Every vehicle is licensed for public passenger transport and inspected on the schedule Greek law requires. Every driver holds the professional licence that category demands. We do not subcontract to private cars.
Insurance
Passenger liability insurance is in place on every journey and covers every seat, including child seats. A certificate can be produced on request. For corporate and cruise-line clients we send it before the first booking rather than waiting to be asked.
Company registration
The agency trades as Corfu Transfers & Tours. The operating company is Charitos Travel, holder of the 1978 licence.
The tourism licence number (M.H.T.E.) is 0829E60000061401, the VAT number (ΑΦΜ) is 094103941, and the companies register number (Γ.Ε.ΜΗ.) is 034527033000.
The same three numbers appear in the footer of every page on this site. If a number here ever disagrees with one printed there, the office would rather hear about it than have you assume.
